Notes:
1. Doesn’t congregate in large parties.
2. Whistler mentions that the nests of this bird is frequently parasitized by Indian and Pied Crested Cuckoo.

Notes:
1. Lives in gangs that do not break up even during the breeding season.
2. One of the most common laughingthrush in the Kathmandu Valley along with the White-crested Laughingthrush and Striated Laughingthrush. The three species overlap in so many places that I wonder if there isn’t some differences in their preferred habitat?
3. Just like the other Laughingthrushes are the gangsters of Himalaya forests.
